Week(s) In Review- New Process Videos!

Hi! I'm going to do my best to keep my blog updated, but with all the big changes in my life, it's quite challenging! We've welcomed a new addition to our family in December, a baby girl named Lilly (Elisabeth). We feel so lucky that everything went well and we are all home and healthy. AND I have lots of cute baby photos to scrapbook! Though significantly less time to do so...
I've had some new videos on my YouTube channel that I wanted to link here, just in case you've missed it. Best is to subscribe to my YouTube channel, which is where I post the most often.
So what's new? I'm really excited about my latest class at Big Pictures Classes. It's called Clean Mixed Media and in it I show lots of fun ways to use mixed media but still get a fresh look that is not too messy.

I talk about it in my January chit chat video (it's at the end of that looooong video... sorry!), as well as talking about my scrappy plans for this year-

One of the things I really want to accomplish this year is a full PL album. I'm starting with a weekly format, but reserve the right to switch to monthly if I see the need. Here I shared the first 2 weeks-

I also shared on my channel my finished December Daily album! I'm sooo happy I managed to finish this project! It's a first for me. I kept it simple, and really enjoyed it. I used the Goldie collection by Studio Calico as well as some bits and pieces from my stash, but it's mostly about the photos and the stories. You can see it here-

Here are some more layouts and process videos from the last weeks. I've had two projects posted on The Cut Shoppe blog and my channel-

And the videos-

Last but not least is my January project for Shimmerz. Love how this one turned out!

Check out the Shimmerz blog for all the details and products for this layout. It was a pleasure to make! You can see the whole process in the video tutorial-

And that is it for now! What's coming? I am impatiently waiting my January Hip Kits so I can resume my weekly video tutorial using those. The kits are so gorgeous and just my style, so I'm really looking forward to getting back to my hip routine :) Other than that I will try to share my PL spreads, and also other layouts I create! Thanks so much for visiting and have a lovely weekend!

February Hip Kit Club Reveal!!

Hi! The February Hip Kits have been revealed and they are full of brand new CHA releases! Let's take a look, starting with the main kit-

Love the rich color palette! So many possibilities for great color combos and lots of black and white patterns to play with! My favorites are the items from the new Pink Paislee collection. So pretty!
Next is the embellishment kit-

Yummy! Lots of fun additions to play with. My favorites are definitely the new Maggie Holmes fringe hearts and the Shimelle chipboard pieces. Such great icons and images!
The color kit has some more of the gorgeous shimmery pastes by Shimmerz, this time in a bright yellow that really complements the kits. There's also a fun exclusive stencil-

The PL kit has some fun pieces that can be used on PL or regular scrapbook layouts, or even planners-

Love the Amy Tan sticker book!

Last but not least are the paper add ons, here's the patterned paper kit-

And the cardstock add on, which to my delight contains 6 sheets of white cardstock. I love using white and it just works beautifully with everything!

That's it! You can find all the kits on the HKC website, they are available to order now, and they ship during the first week of the month.
I am impatiently waiting for my January kits to arrive so I can start playing after my two months break. Thanks for visiting and be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel so you can see any new video tutorial I post. Have a lovely weekend!
