Recipe Challenge #1- Layout+ Process Video

I like challenges. I think it really helps get creative and also cut down time and choices for a layout. But I don't like to look for challenges, and many times they are just not right up my alley. I like to challenge myself, but I like to do it using products and techniques I really love. So that's how Meaghan Russo and I started giving each other these recipes. We follow each other on YouTube, and have quite similar taste (and therefore products). At the time of writing this post, we're both working on recipe #4, but June is turning out to be a busy month for both of us, so we'll probably be back to a more normal rhythm in July (and break again for August, since I won't be home that whole month... a month without scrapbooking!! Inconceivable!!!).

So here's the first recipe:
1. Use 2 papers from the 6*6 Daydreamer paper pad
2. Put a dent in an ephemera pack
3. Use gold rub-ons
4. Use any mint medium (watercolor, ink, mist...)
5. enjoy!

And here's my finished layout-

I loved using so many chipboard pieces, it was really fun to build those clusters, and use the beautiful Maggie Holmes gold rub ons.
There's also a process video-

And here's Meaghan's layout-

I just love how our layouts are similar and yet so different.

Here are some close ups (back to my layout:))-

I'll be back soon with the second layout and recipe, and some more new pages that I've posted on YouTube, but not yet here...
Thanks for visiting!
