Using Distress Inks to Create a Watercolor-like Background

today I'm sharing what has to be one of my favorite layouts in a long time, and I owe it to a new class, that is actually meant for card makers, but I think it has so many wonderful techniques, that can totally apply to a scrapbooker. It's called Watercolor for Card Makers, and you can find more info here. It's only day 3 and you can still sign in. I have sadly no connection to the talented women teaching the class, besides being a happy happy student!
Here's my layout-

Used lots of distress inks to create the background, following one of the techniques shown in the class.

I'm in love with this background, it's just too pretty!! Those red letter stickers are from the Dear Lizzy Daydreamer collection.

Used some PL cards as embellishment, from the Sunshine core kit, and the Amy Tan Plus One PL mini kit, as well as some embellishments from the Plus One collection.

Here's the process video-
