Create A Background With Mists & Stencils

For this layout, I used two 12*12 stencils to create the background. This one from The Crafter's Workshop (it comes in 6*6 and 12*12 sizes), and this cute camera one from Prima. The Crafter's Workshop stencil is really perfect for getting that splattered look, without the risk. And I love cameras on my pages. Always.
I used Heidi Swapp's Color Shine in Primrose and Gold. For the camera one, I only misted in the spot where I wanted the pattern. It's a subtle effect, but adds interest.
Here's the finished page:

Crate Paper The Pier.
Could there be a more perfect summer line? I think not. This page is mostly embellished with chipboard pieces and die cuts from The Pier. That cute jar I used for the journaling is from Lucky Charm by Dear Lizzy. And a few enamel dots are always good. I matted the white cardstock onto two layers of patterned paper, to frame the page. There are a couple of vellum pieces behind the photo and the papers matting it, it adds softness and creates a delicate layered look.
Looking on the page now, I think I should have used a different color for the journaling, that black is a bit too strong for the other colors on that page. Next time:)
Here are some close-ups (that stencil is sooo great!):
