Minnesota
Last October I flew to visit my best friend, who decided she has to live in the US. Just like that, a few years ago, she packed her bags and left our home town, Haifa, in Israel. We've known each other for 17 years now. As hard as it was, and still is, to live so far away from good friends, I'm really happy she's doing so well, and when I visited her I got to see new places (OK, and lots of crafting stores!). We had the best time, watching girly movies, shopping, chatting etc. Now that I'm living in Europe, we hope that our next randevĂș will be in my continent!
And now to the layout. It's a two pages layout, but very very simple and basic.
The page on the right is ridiculously simple, I used the bag from the gift store in the Minneapolis Art Museum as my background. Printed the journaling on patterned paper (I used Office Word and flipped the text to get it to fit the longer paper). The photos are arranged in a Kerri Bradford photo templates (I love these, they are great if you want to fit more photos on your page in an easy and fast way).
The page on the left had a few more elements. I used this sketch from Nichol Magouirk (If you haven't seen her 2011 classes at Two Peas in a Bucket, check them out!). I like how the pink patterned paper compliments the warm colors in the pictures (lovely Autumn colors).
The title was cut from patterned paper with my Cricut. The clouds are stamped with this set from Studio Calico and this cloud punch from Fiskars. The photo template is by Erica Hernandez.
Thanks for visiting!
